Drug
The presence of Colombian cocaine in Venezuela is increasing. Not only that, the country is one of the transit of drugs to Europe and the United States . The number of local people involved in drug trafficking is growing, as well as corruption and other crimes related to these illegal business. Fortunately, not yet heard of tourists who must have been on the drug to extort money.
[...] Recently there have been isolated cases of tourists burundanga doped with a drug produced in Colombia and spread. The burundanga is used by thieves to deprive their victims of any capacity response and clean up without resistance. Being odorless and tasteless, can be added to virtually any substance (sweets, cigarettes, chewing gum, spirits, beer) and is therefore extremely easy to administer. In case of suspicious situations, think twice before accepting a cigarette from a stranger or a drink from a person just met.

Burundanga
The burundanga is another substance that is well known. This is a drug made from a tree very common in Colombia and used by thieves to inhibit the ability of reazione delle proprie vittime.
Il burundanga non viene usato soltanto a danno dei turisti stranieri: There are many victims in Colombia, which in this way the car is stolen or burglarized the house.
Think twice before accepting a cigarette from a stranger or a beer by a new 'friend'.

An acquaintance of mine, a Colombian psychologist, told me about the burundanga in 2006 (Caracas). In his view, the use of this material was growing as a therapist, was facing several cases of people who had been victims, especially in regard to the rapes. He said, inter alia, that leaves no trace burundanga and was often used blowing to the victim. The use of this
burundanga, administered by inhalation, I received confirmation in 2008, when I returned to Caracas. The places where this substance is used more often, are mainly the telephone center with cabins.
