The words of the judges
Francis Palazzo

Political power and politics in Sicily envelops everything. All commands and decides everything. If you can touch his cloak, you're safe. The severe condemnation of power, therefore, strikes and almost knocks. We can put it, if you will, even so. Or we can talk about that other powers, played by the judiciary, which is now the only person able to influence policy and public opinion. If the judiciary does not intervene, nothing happens. We continue to cover, cover, wait, pretending not to understand. As long as you can. As long as you can. And not only talking about yesterday, but today, you know very well. It is capable of repeating the same script over and over again. In these hours, all of humanity, manifest solidarity with the condemned. Do not spend, however, not even a word for anti-mafia magistrates in Palermo who have worked hard to get to the truth, at least the judiciary. It seems to me correct, however, that support goes only to those salaried status. Who, while living in a poor justice system resources and attacked daily by the government of this country have managed to keep the bar straight by sending to a standstill. It is not the first time and will not be the last. The Supreme Court has just noted the good work done in Palermo. Work made up of words written and spoken, to tests. The power and words. The power of words. The items that process power. And they win, sometimes. We have counted. Forty-seven are only those used by the District Anti-Mafia Directorate of Palermo to comment on the sentence handed down yesterday by the Supreme Court. I am the Chief Prosecutor Francesco Messineo. LiveSicilia posted the statement to the 15 and 15, at 23:45 there was still no comment and no one had clicked on the "like". What does this mean, dear readers alert and talkative of this newspaper? The more we reduce forty-seven those simple words. The office says Messineo, would not comment on the sentences, just realize that it was confirmed the prosecution's claimed by the prosecution. Point. Put that way, only seventeen words. A true servant of the State knows that words are important and not wasted. And yet we journalists know, even if they do often overuse. And, therefore, this time, we do not add much more. We can only express the hope, naive, we know that the policy Sicilian can ever fill, at all levels of representation, servants of the institutions who speak little and work hard. Really. Without resorting to the easy and vulgar propaganda. Work for the good of all, used correctly, to the maximum advantage of the community and individuals, public resources. Why does this have to do politics. The rest are chatterbox. Or power bent interests. O criminals. Or both things.
