If you count that the Swede Robin Soderling, ATP ranking of No. 5 had won the first innings taking on 0-1, the end result is humiliating. Roger Federer mishandles Soderling in straight sets 6-1, 6-1. The Swiss took less than an hour to send home the Swede who lost 6-1 after the first set seems to have already thrown in the towel and barely manages to make that point that serves only to prevent the overcoat ... Now Federer will meet in the semi-final, Serbian Novak Djokovic, the No. 2 ranking by winning 6-2, 6-3 at the expense of Spaniard Guillermo Garcia Lopez.
